On the 21st February Convene ESG and RITTERWALD hosted a lunch to help facilitate a network and discussions between housing associations and lenders about the realities of ESG Reporting and Financing.

On March 20, 2024, Ad Hereijgers participated in the 2024 Northern Ireland Housing Conference in Belfast with a presentation about ESG Reporting in social housing.
RITTERWALD participated in the summit with a presentation about ESG data to support access to sustainable finance. Ad Hereijgers was in a panel with Marcus Spiller (SGS Economics and Planning) and Andrew Hannan (BHC) fellow members of the Steering Committee guiding the implementation of the ESG Reporting Standard. RITTERWALD's External Assessment of ESG Reports service can provide a validated baseline for annual improvements in the data quality of the SRS. Better quality data on climate risk, social impact, and good governance must be demonstrated to lenders and investors to retain and grow social and affordable housing as an investment grade risk adjusted asset class.
